music monday

Music, memories, Monday is easier this week because of celebrating the 250th and it being July 5th.  So much celebrating with hymns including, of course, "America the Beautiful."   On a beautiful summer day it is easy to sing "O beautiful for spacious skies, for amber waves of grain, for purple mountain majesties above the fruited plain!"  It brings memories of "purple mountains" but the picture is of the sun rising (spacious skies) over one of the lakes.  Something to think about and remember......
