watching

How did you watch the fireworks last night?  Were you at one of the places to watch "in person"?  Could you see them from your yard?  Could you watch out your windows?  Were you even paying attention?  Did they have to cancel them do to the weather?  We were inside, sitting in our chairs, watching the PBS and Macy's fireworks - with the volume way down.  We could also see SOME out of the windows "in the neighborhood."

Dad and I usually watched on TV also.  When I was little we went to the park near his parents house to watch with all our friends and neighbors.  I have a real problem with loud noise now so I rarely watch "in person" - unless I have ear plugs in.  The memories of the park, friends and family are fun though!

So..... the three sisters took care of the three sisters and watched TV while two were sewing and one was reading.  Then we watched the fireworks......   A nice QUIET day, with a beautiful ending......  Something to remember, enjoy and think about...........
