What is it you do when things are a "little crazy"? Comfort food? A good book, under a quilt with chocolate nearby? Quilting, with praise music playing? Bing watch something on TV - a good romantic comedy or a "blow up" the bad guys depending on feelings?
Dad and I would usually be doing totally different things in different areas. He usually went to a book - either one he was reading or one he was writing. I either would curl up with a book or - you guessed it - quilting. I distinctly remember getting back to the house, after having to drive in white out, going right past Dad, upstairs to my desk, wrapping up in my prayer shawl and reading Scripture (with my praise music playing) -- THEN quilting. I went back down to talk to Dad a couple of hours later......... So........ how do you do "free time" when stressed? Can you help someone else to be able to find something? Something to think about.........
