What do you eat when you are traveling?  Do you bring snacks?  Do you buy snacks as you go?  Do you bring drinks?  What kind of snacks are you bringing or buying?  Is it just you or are there more in the car?  What about at meal time......fast food drive through?  Or go in and "sit down"?

We have been traveling this weekend and got to talking with various people about snacks and eating AND what memories they have/had of other trips.   It has been a fun discussion to have!  The memories, from when we were little and Mom packed picnics for us to eat to how the decision is made for where we will stop.  There is/was even some discussion about drive through and THEN going on the picnic.......

So......... after we stop for the coffee we can talk about where and what we will eat.......right?  AND I can tell you there was quite a bit of laughter as we shared the memories.  It is better to laugh than start screaming!

What tools do you use?  "Just" a pencil or pen?  Maybe you use garden tools?  Carpentry tools?  Or...like me.... needlework tools?  Those of us that use these tools regularly usually have the tools we "need."  Like the wide variety of knitting needles so no matter what size I need, for whatever project, I have what I need.

Then..... a new quilting project needed 96 5" squares.  Yes, I could stand and cut all 96 squares.  OR I could get an the needed "tool," to go with our larger tool, that cuts things a LOT faster.  Yup..... I found the tool needed.  All the squares are cut..... the quilt is getting worked on..... 

I keep thinking of the phrase "get the right tool for the job."  Even when you do it is better to laugh than to start screaming!
